The establishment of our Islamic cultural centre symbolizes a beacon of faith, community, and warmth for the local Muslim community in Swords.
Our Vision
The main purpose of Islamic Cultural Centre is to promote mutual understanding and amity amongst the people of this country and to depict the true face of Islam which is most tolerant, liberal, progressive, rational.
Our Mission
We believe its a noble mission to realize Islam through family and community, according to the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
- To live the example of the prophet Muhammad as good neighbors through civic engagement.
- To service the community’s needs: financial, legal, counseling, etc.
- To focus on the youth and future leaders of the community.
- To nurture a center where Islam is practiced free of social, ethnic, gender, or cultural bias.
Milestones
- January 13, 2023 - Construction Start
- March 15, 2023 - Builder Work Completed
- July 9, 2023 - Laying the carpets
- February 9, 2024 - Mimbar Installed and Delivered all the way from Africa
